This week Riggen is Star Student. This can consist of a variety of different topics including the student bringing in toys to the classroom, picking his favorite book to read to the class and parents writing a letter to the class about the student. I forgot to write the letter last night but remembered this morning on my way out the door which meant Mathew had to write it. This is a good thing as he is the writer in our family. Mathew decided to write a funny story about Riggen. He selected the "marshmallow" story. In short, on a favorite hot day on a camping trip while waiting for paddle boats, Riggen pulled a squished marshmallow out of his pocket that he'd been "saving" (apparently for such an occasion). He was 4. It was quite the story and we still laugh about it today. The picture of the letter is my photo of the day as Riggen was quite pleased with his dad's letter and his class loved the story.
