Most Sunday mornings I write out our dinner menu for the week and head to grocery shopping. Grocery shopping is not my favorite. But today, I met Susan James for coffee/tea at Starbucks where we talked as moms about our worries and celebrations concerning our kids. This made grocery shopping much more pleasant. (Sorry I don't have a pic of us at Starbucks but you get the idea.)
I used to loathe Sunday nights because it meant going back to the chaos of the work week. But a few years ago, we started having popcorn and "family movie night" on Sundays. This actually makes Sunday nights so much better and it's one night Matt "cooks" and I don't have to! We also like the fact that we use his grandma's pan.
