ArT!

So, Kate likes to complete artistic projects! In third grade, Kate's art was selected to be displayed at the Des Moines Art Show and she won $20 from the Des Moines Art Fair team to buy art supplies. Her aunt (my sis) is an artist in Colorado. So I don't have a whole lot of artistic talent, Matt has a pretty decent amount, but apparently Kate has some. She loves getting art supplies from her aunt and this year she received a recycled paper bead maker--it's awesome! But this art kit was given to her for Christmas and she decided to finally use it. It included acrylic paint, an easel and several different sizes of canvas. Here is her masterpiece! I'm so excited because it's so beautiful and I think it will be hung in our main floor bathroom to liven it up! So, you'll need to make a plan to stop by to see her artwork--oh yeah, and you'll need to go to the bathroom, too! :)
