BLT's and 41st Wedding Anniversaries!

Today kate and I had BLT's for lunch...I think I've blogged about them before! But Kate wanted to try her hand at making bacon (as if that was the only reason to have them) and I still have fresh tomatos from my one tomato plant! They were soooo very yummy! It was the perfect lunch after finding out about how much moo-la it was going to take to fix my car! ouch!

July 31 is also my parents' 41st Wedding Anniversary! They celebrated by camping in their RV in the Rockies--away from kids---with no grandchildren--by themselves. I think they loved it!

    they WERE amazing!
    and my car needed new rotors, brake pads, calipers and an oil change.
    i nearly fainted from the price
